Coaching

Kersti is an extremely well qualified project governance/management coach, especially suited to helping senior project stakeholders such as Project Sponsors and Business Owners fulfil their roles.

When coaching a client, Kersti helps them to build on their strengths, and address agreed areas for improvement.  Results are achieved by providing a mix of proactive and reactive guidance in a knowledgeable, respectful and trustworthy manner

Kersti is able to conduct a coaching engagement according to the requirements of an individual or their employing organisations, as confidentially or as openly as required. 

To date, Kersti’s coaching engagements have included the following:

Coaching Client: Business Owner’s Project Representative
Kersti was responsible for being the project management “buddy” of the business manager representing the project business owner.  The buddy arrangement comprised confidential on-on-one preparation and review meetings and actions integrated with the business manager’s project responsibilities e.g. resolving issues and completing action items.

Coaching Client: Telecommunications Industry Project Manager
Kersti coached a telecommunications industry project manager to plan and implement actions based on their professional development program.  The expected learning outcomes and outputs were jointly defined with the corporate program director and project manager to ensure a common expectation of the coaching engagement.  The coaching engagement comprised confidential on-on-one preparation and review meetings and actions integrated with the project manager’s existing responsibilities e.g. improved meeting preparation and management. 

Coaching Client : Public Sector Project Manager
Kersti was engaged to coach a public sector project manager through the process of managing and reporting upon their current project.  The engagement was scheduled around the project team’s monthly reporting schedule, with Kersti meeting the project manager on a monthly basis to review project status and the draft project status report. 

Coaching Client: Team Leader
Kersti was engaged to coach a Team Leader through a Frontline Management Certificate workplace project.
