Mergers & Acquisitions – Governance/Management
In these early years of a new century, the situation regarding mergers and acquisitions (M&As) is somewhat of a paradox – whilst there is a decided increase in the number of mergers and acquisitions in Australia and worldwide, at the same time, at least 70% of M&As are considered failures. These failures are partly due to the poor planning and management of post merger integration and the unclear assignment of responsibilities.
Based on a combination of research and experience, Kersti is able to help organisations ensure their M&A program of work is planned and implemented as a defined series of stages by people with clearly defined responsibilities.
Kersti is qualified for either governance or management M&A related roles such as:
- working with a Board, Project Sponsor, Business Owner or Steering Committee to ensure the necessary level of inter-organisational and intra-organisational governance is in place
- the M&A program manager, working directly with the general manager responsible for the M&A program of work
- the M&A Integration Manager.
