Kersti a Panel Member at an Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) meeting.
At the invitation of the AHRI Attraction, Recruitment and Retention Network, Kersti will be a member of a panel which will address the topic of attracting, recruiting and retaining project staff, with Kersti addressing the topic from the perspective of an independent program manager.

Kersti an Award Winner - Kersti has been awarded a Highly Commended Award by the Emerald Publishing Literati Network for her peer reviewed article "Understanding mergers and acquisitions (M&As) from a program management perspective" published in the International Journal of Managing Projects in Business (Vol 3, issue 10). Kersti's paper was considered to be one of the most impressive pieces of work the journal’s editorial team of eminent academics and managers had seen during 2010.

Kersti takes up her award of an European Union (EU) Erasmus Mundus
scholarship, as a Visiting Professor responsible for contributing to the
education of students enrolled in the Master of Strategic Project
Management course offered at the Bovisa campus of the Politecnico di
Milano in Milan, Italy.
During her time at the Politecnico, Kersti's responsibilities will include presenting a series of original seminars intended to assist current and future project managers to apply a combination of project management research and experience to their practice of project management. The series of seminars will address the topics of Defining Project Scope in terms of Outcomes, Project Risk Management and Tips for Structuring Project Schedules

Kersti a European Union (EU) Erasmus Mundus Scholar ! Kersti has been awarded a scholarship which will allow her to contribute as a visiting scholar to the education of postgraduate students enrolled in the Master of Strategic Project Management course offered by universities in Sweden, Scotland and Italy.

Kersti has a paper titled Doctoral Level Action Research – A Graduate’s Experience, accepted by the 16th International Conference on Learning to be held in Barcelona in July 2009.

Kersti has another peer reviewed journal article published ! The paper titled, Dual Cycle Action Research: a Professional Doctorate Case Study, has been published in the International Journal of Managing Projects in Business (Vol 1 issue 4).

Kersti accepts the invitation to continue as a committee member of the European Conference on Research Methods in Business & Management (ECRM)– being held at the University of Malta, Valletta, Malta from 22-23 June 2009.
